"Oricon Arashi got no.1 for 10 consecutive pieces"

Popular group Arashi’s 11th original album “Popcorn” (released on 10/31) sold 701K copies for the first week and got no.1 of 11/12 weekly ranking. Having no.1 of Arashi album is 10 consecutive pieces since 4th original album “Iza Now” (released July 2004) totally 11th piece. first week sales made positive start more than Beautiful World first week sales 631K copies (total sales 936K copies, released last July).

Arashi's Pop Month !

Arashi leader, Ohno Satoshi (30th) was appointed to new CM character of Lawson Onigiri-ya 10th anniversary memorial "delicious from hometown" series and attended press conference on 28 in Tokyo. He eats rice ball of Miyagi, Yamagata and Kagotshima this day. He eats up 3 of them and evokes laughter "This was my first meal of the day. it was delicious. Gochisousama deshita." Ohno eats "sorry this eating these.” he mumbles stuffing his mouth, say his feedback of taste finish eat 3 rice balls pretty high pace. "this is pretty high pace. sorry." makes bitter grin, it could be just fine to have one bite usually. He ate all of 3 rice balls. "there're still many delicious ones I'm looking forward to it. I travel at CM and search delicious food all over Japan and want to cheer Japan with local foods" this new TV Cm starts on air from 11/6.

Kazunari Ninomiya of popular group Arashi attended “Pockey and Pritz day” event held at Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall in Tokyo on 31. At that event, giant mosaic art of CM character Devil Nino used 1,307, 208 Pockeys. (50.92 sqm) appeared. This was certified by Guinness world record as “biggest mosaic art by biscuit sticks.”  Ninomiya was pleased as his character become Guinness record “I ‘m surprised. Bentou (Bekal ala Jepang)

Apa yang kalian pikirkan soal makanan Jepang? Sushi, mi ramen, mi soba, takoyaki, okonomiyaki kah? Bagi para pelajar di Jepang sana, sudah menjadi kebiasaan untuk membawa bekal makanan tiap hari ke sekolah. Dari bekal yang sederhana sampai bekal yang super ribet. Di Indonesia pun kebiasaan untuk membawa bekal juga sudah ada sejak lama karna para orang tua akan lebih memilih membuatkan bekal yang sehat untuk anaknya, daripada membeli jajanan luar yang belum terjamin kebersihannya. Namun, seiring perkembangan zaman, orang-orang mulai memilih bekal yang cepat saji. Berikut ini ada sedikit penjelasan mengenai bentou dan berbagai jenisnya.

Bentō (弁当 atau べんとう) atau o-bentō adalah istilah bahasa Jepang untuk makanan bekal berupa nasi berikut lauk-pauk dalam kemasan praktis yang bisa dibawa-bawa dan dimakan di tempat lain. Seperti halnya nasi bungkus, bentō bisa dimakan sebagai makan siang, makan malam, atau bekal piknik.

Bentō biasanya dikemas untuk porsi satu orang, walaupun dalam arti luas bisa berarti makanan bekal untuk kelompok atau keluarga. Bento dibeli atau disiapkan sendiri di rumah. Ketika dibeli, bentō sudah dilengkapi dengan sumpit sekali pakai, berikut penyedap rasa yang disesuaikan dengan lauk, seperti kecap asin atau saus uster dalam kemasan mini.

Ciri khas bentō adalah pengaturan jenis lauk dan warna agar sedap dipandang serta mengundang selera. Bento dapat pula dihias dan disusun rapi dalam gaya yang disebut kyaraben. Kemasan bento selalu memiliki tutup, dan wadah bentō bisa berupa kotak atau nampan segi empat dari plastik,kotak roti, atau kotak kayu kerajinan tangan yang dipernis. Ibu rumah tangga di Jepang dianggap perlu terampil menyiapkan bentō, walaupun bentō bisa dibeli di mana-mana. Di Indonesia, hidangan ala bento mulai dipopulerkan jaringan restoran siap saji Hoka Hoka Bento sejak tahun 1985.

Sejarah

Pada akhir zaman Kamakura, orang Jepang mengenal makanan praktis berupa nasi yang ditanak dan dikeringkan. Makanan ini disebut hoshi-ii (nasi kering) dan dibawa di dalam tas kecil. Hoshi-ii bisa dimakan begitu saja, atau direbus di dalam air sebelum dimakan. Di zaman Azuchi Momoyama (1568-1600), orang sudah mulai senang makan di luar, dan kotak kayu yang dipernis digunakan sebagai wadah membawa makanan. Bentō mulai dikenal sebagai makanan praktis dalam kesempatan hanami atau upacara minum teh.

Pada zaman Edo (1603-1867), kebudayaan bentō semakin meluas di kalangan rakyat banyak. Orang yang bepergian atau berwisata membawa makanan praktis yang disebut koshibentō (bentō di pinggang). Isinya beberapa onigiri yang dibungkus daun bambu, atau nasi di dalam kemasan kotak beranyam dari bambu yang diikatkan di pinggang. Salah satu jenis bentō yang disebutmakunouchi bentō populer di kalangan rakyat yang menonton pertunjukan noh dan kabuki. Bentō dimakan sewaktu pergantian layar panggung (maku) sehingga dinamakan makunouchi bentō. Di zaman Edo, cara memasak, mengemas, dan menyiapkan bentō untuk kesempatan hanami dan hinamatsuri sudah diterbitkan dalam buku resep masakan.

Penjualan paket nasi yang disebut ekiben (駅弁 bentō stasiun) dimulai sejak zaman Meiji. Ekiben dimaksudkan untuk dinikmati di atas kereta, dan sering merupakan hidangan khas dari daerah tempat stasiun kereta api tersebut berada. Stasiun KA Utsunomiya (Prefektur Ibaraki) merupakan salah satu stasiun yang mengklaim sebagai penjual ekiben yang pertama. Pada 16 Juli 1885, di Stasiun KA Utsunomiya dijual ekiben berupa dua buah onigiri berisi umeboshi dan potongan asinan lobak (takuan) dengan pembungkus daun bambu. Bekal bentō yang dibawa murid dan guru juga mulai populer di zaman Meiji. Jam pelajaran baru selesai di petang hari, dan sekolah-sekolah belum memiliki dapur dan kafetaria yang menyediakan makan siang. Selain bentō berisi nasi, penjual bentō juga mulai menyediakan bentō ala Eropa berisi sandwich.

Pada zaman Taisho (1912 - 1926), perbedaan kaya-miskin yang tajam seusai Perang Dunia I menimbulkan gerakan sosial untuk menghentikan kebiasaan membawa bentō ke sekolah. Bentō dituduh sebagai sarana pamer kekayaan bagi anak orang berada yang mampu membawa nasi ke sekolah.

Pada awal zaman Showa, kotak dari aluminum untuk membawa bento sangat digemari orang Jepang dan merupakan barang mewah. Setelah Perang Dunia II, tradisi membawa bentō secara berangsur-angsur hilang sejalan dengan semakin banyaknya sekolah yang menyediakan ransum makan siang.

Bentō kembali populer di tahun 1980-an setelah dikenal kemasan kotak plastik polistirena sekali pakai, oven microwave, dan semakin meluasnya toko kelontong 24 jam. Sementara itu, bentō buatan ibu kembali mulai digemari, dan tradisi membawa bentō dari rumah hidup kembali. Keahlian menyiapkan bentō untuk anak-anak merupakan kebanggaan tersendiri bagi ibu rumah tangga. Lauk seperti sosis dan nori dipotong-potong atau digunting untuk dijadikan hiasan, seperti daun, bunga, binatang, hingga karakter anime.

Jenis-jenis

Shōkadō bentō (松花堂弁当)

Bentō yang dihidangkan di dalam kotak kayu dengan tutup yang bisa menutup dengan rapat, dan di dalamnya terdapat pembatas untuk membagi wadah menjadi 4 bagian.

Chūka bentō (中華弁当, bentō masakan Cina)

Kemasan bentō berisi makanan Cina.

Kamameshi bentō (釜飯弁当, bentō nasi periuk)

Bentō yang menggunakan periuk tanah liat sebagai kemasan.

Makunouchi bentō (幕の内弁当)

Bentō tradisional berisi nasi dan lauk.

Noriben (海苔弁)

Bentō berisi nasi ditutupi nori (rumput laut kering) yang sudah dicelupkan ke dalam kecap asin (soyu).

Hinomaru bentō (日の丸弁当)

Bentō yang hanya terdiri dari nasi putih dan sebuah umeboshi yang diletakkan di tengah-tengah seperti bendera Jepang.

Istilah yang terkait

Hoka bentō (ホカ弁, bentō panas)

Bentō yang dibeli dari rumah makan bentō untuk dibawa pergi, disertai nasi panas yang baru dimasak (hokahoka) disertai menu sampingan yang baru matang pula. Istilah ini populer setelah munculnya Hokka Hokka Tei.

Shidashi bentō (仕出し弁当, bentō kiriman)

Bentō yang tidak dibuat di rumah, melainkan dibeli di penjual bento atau rumah makan.

Pencuci mulut berupa jeruk yang dibekukan dan dijual di stasiun KA atau di atas KA bersama ekiben.

Sebenarnya, kegiatan membuat bentou itu sendiri ada manfaat tersembunyinya loh.. Salah satunya, kita akan menjadi lebih kreatif dalam berkreasi membuat bentou (bekal). Jadi, untuk apa menunggu lagi? Bahan-bahannya yang mudah didapatkan dan dibuat sendiri akan membuat bentou kita lebih berisi dan menarik.

Arashi's Ninomiya Kazunari to star in latest Higashino Keigo adaption Platina Data

Ninomiya Kazunari as Kagura Ryuuhei

On January 26th, it was announced that Ninomiya Kazunari from Arashi will be starring in an upcoming movie titled, ”Platina Data“.

“Platina Data” (プラチナデータ) is based on a novel by famed writer Higashino Keigo. Set in 2017, it tells the story of a young brilliant scientist named Kagura Ryuhei (Ninomiya), who works as a DNA specialist for the National Police Agency in the newly created underwater DNA data center. One day, he suddenly becomes the prime suspect in the murder case of the person who developed the new DNA investigation system. Having no memory of what actually happened, Kagura decides to run away from the police.

Ninomiya commented, “It’s an incredible story that lets you take a look at a not too distant future… It’s an honor to be involved in this project.”

It was also announced that the detective in charge of the pursuit, Asama Reiji, will be played by actorToyokawa Etsushi.

“I’m really happy to be able to work with Toyokawa. I can learn so many things from him,” Ninomiya said. “I’ll immediately start the preparations in order to be able to keep up with him.”

Toyokawa commented, “I’ve always thought of Ninomiya as a wonderful and young actor with a great individuality, from whom I can still learn a couple of things myself. I can’t wait to interact with him.”

The filming will begin in February, which gives Ninomiya a few more days to study the latest reports about DNA research, as he said. Aside from the science factor, the movie is said to include various dynamic action scenes as well. Distributor Toho stated that they want to create an epic mystery on the level of a Hollywood movie.

“Platina Data” will not appear in cinemas on 2013.

Filming takes place from february-april 2012. Higashino Keigo-san is the same author who wrote Ryuusei no Kizuna.

NHK announces hosts for the 63rd Annual Kohaku Uta Gassen

On October 16th, NHK announced that actress Horikita Maki (24) will be the red host and popular group Arashi will be the white hosts for the 63rd Annual Kohaku Uta Gassen.

Horikita, who has starred in NHK’s TV drama “Ume-chan Sensei”, will be hosting the Kohaku Uta Gassen for the first time, while this will be Arashi’s third consecutive year hosting the event. Announcer Udo Yumiko (43) will serve as the main host for the program.

Horikita commented, “I was given a very important role (in the drama), and I want to sum up this year with a smile,” while Arashi’s Sakurai Sho (30) shared, “This year, Japan became one through the Olympics.  On December 31st, I will help, to the best of my ability, unify Japan through music.”

Kagiheya Won Mipcom Award for Japanese Drama and another Arashi news update

Last Oct 8th to 11th, an international TV program exhibition, “MIPCOM“, was held in Cannes, France wherein Fuji TV drama “Kagi no Kakatta Heya” won “MIPCOM BUYERS’ AWARD for Japanese Drama“. The said drama stars Arashi‘s Satoshi Ohno, Erika Toda, and Sato Koichi.

MIPCOM is an annual entertainment conference wherein the entertainment content heavy hitters converge in Cannes to create a new world of entertainment. The conference lasted for four days that onsisted of meetings and program screenings of different TV shows around the world. “Kagi no Kakatta Heya” was voted by 14 buyers across Europe as the Japanese drama, “in which the buyer, who purchases the program of every country in the world, wants to buy most“.
Satoshi Kubota of Fuji TV Development Department accepted the award last Oct 8th. In addition, here are this year’s nominees:

*****Model press <Masaki Aiba and Jun Matsumoto closed up their face> Satoshi Ohno, Kazunari Ninomiya, Masaki Aiba and Jun Matsumoto appearance Hitachi appliance new cm “2 washing tubs“ version “”Eye movement autumn winter” version starts on air 10/20. at Room air-con CM ”Eye movement autumn winter” version, Aiba and Matsumoto becomes camera of air-con to express “life camera” that realizes comfort air condition to watch room condition. 2 entered to small air-con set. the shooting has started at the scene they closed up their face so close to realized distance that director imagined. at break Aiba automatically says “my sight!" it was shooting such tight kneeling position. 2 who aggressively exchanges their opinion with director, their professional mind was seen.

Ohno is continuously washing machine character. 3rd years since Arashi does image character of Arashi, this time 2 CM, this time as well they introduce function of product becoming eclectic appliances, such unique story.  “2 washing tubs 2” version that Ohno and Ninomiya appears, Ohno who continuously act washing tub after previous year and his friend role Ninomiya challenge washing tub for the first time. Ohno who told proudly “dirt is honor.” but this time he made clean start, transformed washing tub with automated cleaning function, and screamed his pleasure “cleaning by myself feels so good!!” his proud face to brag his clean washing tub to Ninomiya is notable. washing tubs that 2 wears is pretty big props that 6 staffs to help to wear. both Ohno and Ninomiya after 5 minutes since wearing, they get used to. they take break leaning their face in washing tub, two played, they enjoyed washing tub roles seems unexpectedly comfortable.  Hitachi washing machine with Ohmiya, Air-con with Aiba-chan and Jun-kun, lighting also updated with Jun-kun and Aiba-chan.
