Arashi Becomes Gourmet Hosts
It was announced that Arashi will hosts NHK‘s documentary special titled: “Arashi no ashita ni kakeru tabi ～kibō no tane o sagashi ni iko u ～(Arashi Bridge Over Tomorrow, Let’s Search for the Seeds of Hope).
In the 2nd round following last November’s broadcast, each members of Arashi will “Rediscover Japan” by going around the country, collect materials, and will cover fascinating people who are deemed the future of Japan.
Masaki Aiba will visit Miyakojima in Okinawa for “Eco Island Miyakojima Travel” episode. In the said episode, he gets to eat Asplenium Antiquum (Bird’s Nest Ferns) for the 1st time. “It looks like an aloe (aloe vera), ” he commented.

Satoshi Ohno and Ninomiya Kazunari will pick their destination following the show’s next broadcast on March.
The December broadcast of “Arashi no ashita ni kakeru tabi ～kibō no tane o sagashi ni iko u ～(Arashi Bridge Over Tomorrow, Let’s Search for the Seeds of Hope) will air for 3-consecutive days from Dec 17th to 19th (10PM, JST). Matsumoto Jun and Ueno Juri to co-star in new movie
‘Hidamari no Kanojo’
On December 3rd, it was announced that Arashi’s
Matsumoto Jun and actress Ueno Juri are going to star in the latest movie of
director Miki Takahiro (‘Solanin’, ‘Bokura ga Ita’), ‘Hidamari no Kanojo‘. It
has been five years since Matsumoto and three years since Ueno has appeared in
a movie.
‘Hidamari no Kanojo’ is based on a novel of the same
name by author Koshigaya Osamu, which has sold more than 350,000 copies up
until now. It’s said to be the number one love story girls want boys to read.
The original story is set in Chiba, but the movie adaptation is going to move
the setting to the region of Shonan along the coast of Sagami Bay. It’s not
just about the mere feeling of love that is awakening between two people, but
about the kind of feeling that you can only experience once in a life time. The
story also features some mystery and fantasy elements.
Okuda Kosuke (Matsumoto) has been working for this
advertising company for three years, when he met Watarai Mao (Ueno) at the
reception of a new client. Mao is his childhood friend from junior high school
whom he hasn’t seen for more than 10 years. Mao used to be the biggest fool at
the school and was often bullied by the others, but now she has transformed
into a beautiful and charming woman. Kosuke immediately falls in love with her
and she is returning his feelings. It doesn’t take long and they already decide
to get married. However, Mao is keeping one big unbelievable secret to herself…
Matsumoto read both the novel and the script and
expressed, “I immediately wanted to get this role. It’s not just the romance
between the two that’s interesting, but the whole world view and the story in
itself.” He commented about Ueno and Miki, “Together with Ueno-san, I would
like to send out this affectionate and warm fantasy. I already watched Director
Miki’s works before I got casted for this role and I’m really happy that we get
to work together this time.”
Ueno expressed, “I’m really happy, since it has been
three years since my last movie. It’s a really heart-warming and soothing story
and I’ll work my hardest to let the viewers feel the same way.” She said about
Matsumoto, “Acting, singing, variety shows. He’s talented in so many ways and I
really can’t wait to work together with him.”
Director Miki himself commented, “It’s about a certain
kind of feeling that is too pure and too honest to just be called love. I was
touched that the feeling of loving someone earnestly. I’d like to perfectly
create the atmosphere of a sunny spot (hidamari) with those two lovely actors.”
‘Hidamari
no Kanojo’ is slated to begin filming in January and to hit cinemas in October

The Recording Industry
Association of Japan (or ‘RIAJ’) has recently released their hard copy sales
certifications for the month of October. This certification is based
off the total numbers of CDs and DVDs sold to retailers.

Mitsuko Mori or
Mitsu Murakami was a Japanese actress. Mori died of pneumonia and heart failure on November 10, 2012, at a hospital
in Tokyo, aged 92.
On November 14th, when the
news was published Johnny’s, who are known to have a deep friendship with
Mori-san, did not make comments and only stated; “Please give us a little time,
this is all so sudden”.
For Johnny’s talents,
Mori-san was not just a big senior but also a mother figure. If there was a
stage appearance by Johnny’s it was certain that she would visit the theater.
Even after she became ill she was still there to support their talent, in the
shade. When Domoto Koichi and Takizawa Hideaki took the stage, she arranged
well balanced lunches for them on daily basis. She used to go often to
Disneyland with Higashiyama Noriyuki, enough to be referred as his “lover”,
though there were on friendly terms. Always favoring the young talents too, she
would send flowers even until just before her death. If there was a stage
performance, she had to sent heart-warming messages and flowers.
During 1986′s NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen she told Higashiyama
Noriyuki, “Higashiyama-san,
I’m your fan. I’m always watching you”. In 1985, when
Shounentai had just debuted she put an eye on the group, especially in
Higashiyama. Since 1990, she participated multiple time in dramas, co-starring
with members of the agency in many opportunities. Since she used to visit
Hawaii every year, she was often seen with members of the agency, including
Arashi’s debut ceremony held in 1999. During Takizawa’s “Jinsei Kakumei” in
2010, she couldn’t handle to perform until the end of it, as a result, the
scheduled performance was canceled abruptly in Imperial Theater, Tokyo.

Higashiyama Noriyuki and Takizawa Hideaki were able to make proper comments

Today, Arashi paying their last
respect to Mori Mitsuko , who passed away at the age of 92. She is consider
Johnny's mother, she is big fan of all Johnny's artist and in good relationship
with all the artists including Arashi.
Sho said, he was shocked and
feel gratitude when he received letter from Mori-san last time during his
Kamisama no Karute press conference.
Nino said, Mori-san has
always been his idol.
Aiba said, he went
travelling with Mori-san to Hawaii last time
Jun said, he has been
keeping in contact with Mori-san since they first know each other 14 years ago.
Riida said, he was invited

Heard the reason why
they didn’t doing live perform on yesterday's FNS was because Aiba-chan couldnt
make it. Actually they are asked to perform together with only 4 member, but Ohno-san
requested “Arashi without Aiba is not Arashi, please let us as pre-recorded

I think, riida love never been publish in terebi, he always become a god like Naka Riisa said on Himitsu no Arashi-chan VIP room 2010. He always see and keep watching other members from cloud (above/up) and doing Leader-thing with the way of himself. This is one of the reason why I like riida and Arashi, they doing anything with their heart. (^^) About rankings, I just can say "omedetou !" and congratulated from here. Make sure you didn't got accident in your concert tour, Arashi-san. Jaa, mata raishuu ! Admin deshita~
