Good morning.
This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
First message : "'Oh-chan,have
you ever met anyone with the exact same name & gender as you?”
I've seen it before. There's
someone born in the same year as me. An artist. Ohno Satoshi. He has an extra
kanji for his first name, with the '史' of '歴史' He draws stuff. Pictures
on a circular theme, if I remember correctly. I kinda want to meet him now.
It's pretty rare, isn't it?
I didn't see when his exact
date of birth was though. But his first and last name was pretty close. And he
likes art too! If we turn out to look alike too, wouldn't that be super funny?
We'd be like twins! I'd like to meet him someday.
Second message (from
Nazuna-san) : "I've found a job! Next year, I'll be working at a doughnut
shop. I didn't think I'd get the job straight away, but I did. I'd be happy if
Satoshi-kun would congratulate me. I'll work hard at my job starting April! "
Ohh. Well, Nazuna-san!
Starting from April, make sure you sell loads of doughnuts!
Third message : "My
6-year-old daughter lost her first tooth. A few days ago, the tooth had been
all wobbly. She complained it hurt. Ohno-san, do you have any memories of
wobbly or loose teeth?”
What I remember is... I think it was a tooth
from my bottom jaw? It was wobbly, so you kinda get all absorbed by it, right?
Then you'd poke it with your tongue and then push it back in place. And no
matter how much you wobbled it, it'd stubbornly stay there. Once, um, we had to
tie a string around it and pull it out. I think it was probably my mom or my
sister who did that. And then. There was a tooth trying to grow under that bottom
tooth.
I don't know if it's because
we pulled it, but then it was like there's an extra tooth in my bottom jaw. I'm
quite fond of it. (laughs)
I like touching it with my
tongue. When was it again? I think it was when I was doing Kaibutsu-kun? There
were bits where I had to open my mouth up wide, right? Naturally, it was
visible. Like, 'Ah, it's there! There it
is! It got filmed!
It often gets filmed in all
the good bits. Well, for those of you who want to see it, please go ahead and
watch it again!
That's all; this
was Ohno Satoshi!

Selamat Pagi ! Ini adalah Arashi – Ohno Satoshi.
Pesan pertama :
"'Oh-chan, apakah kamu pernah bertemu seseorang dengan nama yang sama
persis & jenis kelamin seperti Anda?"
Saya pernah melihatnya.
Aku jadi ingin bertemu dengannya sekarang.
mirip. Dan dia suka seni juga!
Jika kita ternyata mirip juga,
bukankah itu sangat lucu? Kami akan seperti saudara kembar! Aku ingin bertemu
dengannya suatu hari nanti.
pekerjaan, tapi saya mendapatkannya. Saya sangat senang jika Satoshi-kun
memberiku ucapan selamat.
sehingga anda agak mendapatkan semua diserap (menyangga/memikat) olehnya, kan?
Sekian,
Ohno Satoshi pamit !

Good morning. This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Here's today's thought of the day; come on!
"Peaceful and harmonious"
[BGM 'Your Eyes']
Ohh. That's incredible; it's read as 'waki aiai' although it's written with kanji. 'Waki' is written with the '和' from '平和', 'ki' is the '気' from '気合い'. 'Ai ai' is written... with a '草' radical, a '言' radical, a '日', a something... Well, it's a kanji of some sort. (laughs) So there's a word like that! Do look it up. It's an unusual word.
Right. This means when things are peaceful and relations are good.
I knew that.
Recently... well, it seems things are pretty smooth. Um, when I was doing the drama, I told you all, right? About the bearded dragon. It was bought by the staff during the drama. We kept him. Then after the drama ended, whoosh! Um, it ended up at my place.
So I brought him to my parents' place for the time being. And then, the lizard... It all went from there! I didn't really have much time myself to make arrangements to take care of it, but... it kinda...
My parents... were fascinated by him. So my parents are looking after him -- after Kagi. It's kinda amazing. They put him in the bath, um, they clean up after him, they feed him...
"Hey Satoshi, you're not even looking after him!"
"We've to clean up after him and feed him every day; it's pretty tough work y'know!"
Or so they say...
Or so they say, but actually... (laughs) I get the feeling they enjoy it...
It's great. They talk to him quite a lot. (laughs)
They're all like, "Ah, you're sleeping now, huh?" and then he gets shoulder rides and everything! (laughs) And my mom won't touch him. Mm. So when it's the two of them, my dad'll be the one holding the lizard and going, "C'mon, you, just try touching him!"
"No way, no way, no way!"
"It's fine, he won't do anything!"
"I SAID NO WAY IN HELL!"
And so the two of them fought like that. (laughs) Seems fun!
Eh, yeah, from now on my dad... (laughs) He'll be looking after him!
I'm sorry, Kagi! I wish you happiness!
That's all; this was Ohno Satoshi!
[Rather appropriate requested song: 'Happiness']

[1] 3 MinuteCooking Japanese Lesson! Today's phrase is '和気藹藹' (waki aiai).
平和 (heiwa) = peace
気合い (kiai) = fighting spirit
藹 (can be read as 'ai')= seldom used kanji.

Arashi Discovery 2012.08.22
Selamat pagi. Ini adalah Arashi - Ohno
Satoshi.
Kalimat bijak untuk hari ini, ini dia!
"Damai dan harmonis"
[BGM 'Your Eyes']
Ohh. Itu luar biasa, itu dibaca sebagai
'Waki Aiai' meskipun itu ditulis dengan kanji. 'Waki' ditulis dengan '和' dari '平和', 'ki' adalah '気' dari '気合い'. 'Ai ai' ditulis ... dengan '草' radikal, '言' radikal, '日', aa sesuatu yang ... Yaa, itu kanji dari beberapa macam. (tertawa) Jadi
ada kata seperti itu! Jangan mencarinya. Ini adalah kata yang tidak biasa.
Benar. Ini berarti ketika sesuatu yang
damai dan berhubungan adalah hal baik.
Aku tahu itu.
Baru-baru ini ... yaa, tampaknya berjalan
cukup halus. Anoo, ketika saya sedang melakukan drama, saya mengatakannya, kan?
Tentang naga berjenggot. Ini dibeli oleh staf selama shooting drama. Kami menjaganya
(memeliharanya). Kemudian setelah drama berakhir, whoosh! Um, itu berakhir di
tempat saya.
Jadi saya membawanya ke tempat orang tua
saya untuk sementara waktu. Dan kemudian, si kadal ... Ini semua berasal dari
sana!
Orang tua saya ... terpesona olehnya.
Maka orang tua saya merawatnya - merawat Kagi. Ini agak menakjubkan. Mereka
menempatkan dia di kamar mandi, um, mereka membersihkannya, mereka memberinya
makan ...
"Hey
Satoshi, kau bahkan tidak menjaganya (merawatnya)!"
"Kami
sebenarnya ... (tertawa) Saya punya perasaan mereka menikmatinya ...
Ini bagus. Mereka berbicara dengannya
cukup banyak. (tertawa)
Mereka seperti, "Ah, kau sekarang tidur,
ya?" dan kemudian ia mendapatkan tunggangan bahu dan segalanya! (tertawa)
Dan ibuku tidak akan menyentuhnya. Mm.
mencoba menyentuhnya!"
"Tidak
mungkin, tidak, tidak mau!"
"Tidak
apa-apa, dia tidak akan melakukan apa-apa!"
"AKU
BILANG TIDAK!"
Dan mereka berdua bertengkar seperti
itu. (tertawa) Sepertinya menyenangkan!
Eh, ya, mulai sekarang ayahku ... (tertawa)
Dia akan menjaganya (Kaagi)!
Maafkan aku, Kagi! Saya berharap kamu bahagia!
Sekian, Ohno Satoshi pamit !
[Lagu
yang tepat diminta : 'Happiness']

* 3 MenitCooking Japanese
Lesson! (Waki
Aiai).
* 3 Menit
平和
(heiwa) = perdamaian
気合い (kiai)
= semangat pertarungan (semangat perjuangan)
蔼 (dapat
** The show's pet mascot appears in Kagi no Kakatta Heya Ep. 9. From
Danburi: "The
lizard on the screen is the pet “Ka~gi~” that was bought at the pet shop they
visited for ep4. Ohno-kun liked it so it was bought as a pet for everyone on
the show. It was named “Ka~gi~” by Ohno-kun."
