Good morning. This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Here's today's thought of the day; come on!
"The devil will laugh."
[BGM 'Cosmos']
Ohh. The devil'll laugh. Yeah. (laughs)
This is a phrase used teasingly to mean when there's no possibility of something happening or at a time when there doesn't appear to be any clear prospects of something happening. "Speaking of next year, the devil'll laugh" is an example of how it is used.
But well, yeah, that's right. November is over.
Ah, this was a while ago. But at one point, I went back to my parent's house after work. It had been a while since I'd been back. But what surprised me was, well, you know how the lizard's there, right? The bearded dragon, Kaagi. He'd gotten a whole lot bigger. His tail's gotten super fat. Well, it was cute. I'd left him there because my dad had taken an interest in him.
My dad was the same as always, all like, "Isn't he cute?" But my mom and my sister had been like, "Stop it, stop it! It's scary!"
This time when I went home though, my mom was cooing all over Kaagi, going like, "Who's a good boy then? Are you sleepy, huh?"
Me: "EHHH?!? What happened?!"
"Hmm? But he's cute, isn't he?"
"Nonono! You were the one who was most scared of him, weren't you?!"
"No, I'm absolutely fine with him. I even put him on my head sometimes. Look!" And she put him on her head.
Man, humans can sure change, I thought.
I said it before. "If you'd just touch him once, you'd totally find him cute!" But she'd been all like, "No thanks. I'm definitely not touching him ever" and vetoed it flat out.
"Just touch his tail! It's just the tip of his tail, it'll be absolutely fine."But when I approached with Kaagi, she'd been all like, "Ahh, stop it, stop it!"
She'd said that! And now she's talking to him like it's perfectly normal! And she puts him on her head and goes like, "Hmm? How's the view up there, little buddy?"
So they all said he was cute. Mm. They seem quite emotionally attached to him too. If you put your hand out, he climbs on, apparently. Mm.
So the other day, since it was a while since I'd seen him, I put my hand out for him to climb on. But he kinda made this 'Who are you?'expression. Like, 'I feel like I've met you before, somehow... Who areyou?'
But he sorta recognised me. He'll be looking forward to me coming from now on. I'm glad of that.
That's all; this was Ohno Satoshi!

Selamat pagi.
"The devil will laugh = Iblis akan tertawa."
[BGM 'Cosmos']
Ohh. Iblis akan tertawa. Yeah. (Tertawa)
Kadal berjanggut naga, Kaagi. Dia menjadi jauh lebih besar. Ekornya
sudah menjadi sangat gemuk. Ya, dia sangat manis. Aku meninggalkan dia di sana
karena ayahku telah tertarik dengannya.
Ayah saya sama seperti biasa, seperti, "Bukankah dia manis?"
Apa kau mengantuk, huh?"
Me: " Ehhh?!? Apa yang terjadi?!"
"Hmm? Tapi dia manis, ya kan?"
"Tidak, tidak, tidak! Kau salah satu orang yang paling takut
padanya, kan?!"
"Tidak, aku baik-baik saja dengannya. Aku bahkan kadang-kadang
menaruhnya di kepala saya. Lihat!" Dan dia menaruhnya di kepalanya.
Yah., manusia pasti bisa berubah, pikirku.
Aku mengatakan itu sebelumnya. "Jika kau menyentuhnya sekali saja,
kamu akan benar-benar menemukannya terlihat manis!" Tapi dia sudah
seperti, "Tidak, terima kasih. Saya yakin tidak akan pernah
menyentuhnya." dengan jawaban yang datar.
"Coba sentuh ekornya! Ini hanya ujung ekornya, ini akan baik-baik
saja." Tapi ketika saya menyodori Kaagi, dia sudah seperti, "Ahh,
hentikan, hentikan!"
Tapi dia terlihat memberi ekspresi
'Siapa kau?'. Seperti, "Saya merasa seperti saya telah bertemu anda
sebelumnya, entah bagaimana ... Anda isiapa?"
Tapi dia seperti mengenali saya. Dia terlihat memperhatikanku dan
mendatangi ke arahku. Aku senang melihatnya.
Itu saja, Ohno Satoshi pamit!

Good morning.
This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Here's today's thought of the day; come on!
"A year from now, all your troubles and worries will seem far more trivial than you remembered."
[BGM 'Your Eyes']
Oh, that's a good quote.
Here's today's thought of the day; come on!
"A year from now, all your troubles and worries will seem far more trivial than you remembered."
[BGM 'Your Eyes']
Oh, that's a good quote.
This is a quote by the English essayist Samuel Johnson-san. Even if you have worries now, they become a thing of the past.
Worries, right, they seem terrible at the time but once it passes, you'd be
like; Ahh, so I was worried about things like that, huh? Ahahahaha. Like Ahahahaha.
Yeah. (laughs)
Well, there are all sorts of things to worry about, right. Yeah. You have to
believe you can overcome them though. But well, you can't do without worrying.
That's how it is, it's a tough one. About fishing, that is.
Um, the first time, right. I managed to catch something. The first time I went
fishing. Well, there are all sorts of patterns to it though. So I was
like, So that's it, I can catch fish.
And so I was hooked by the attractions of fishing. So the next 2 or 3 times I
went, I caught fish. And then there was one time where I was the only one who
couldn't catch any fish.
Huh? That's weird... I was doing the same thing as everyone else.
So there came a time when I was the only one who couldn't catch anything.
So I was worried. Why? What am I doing differently? I was
using the same lures as everyone else. I was using the same tricks and gadgets
too. So why?
That was, well... no call but to overcome it. Yeah.
And then the first person to catch something. They'd gain confidence. So with that
confidence, they'd be able to catch the next one right away. So for that first
time, the others who haven't caught anything would be like, "Ah,
incredible, that's great!" They'd be like, "I'll be
next, I'll be next."
That's when those thoughts start, naturally. And then the more you think that,
the less you'll be able to catch.
So you'd change your lures, right? You'd be like, Oh, those lures don't
catch me anything. Then unnecessarily changing lures won't catch you
anything either. There's kinda a trick to it. So that's why it's
interesting.
So same goes for you from now on. Ohno-kun, good luck! (laughs)
That's all; this was Ohno Satoshi!

Selamat pagi. Ini adalah
Arashi - Ohno Satoshi.
Ini adalah kata bijak untuk
hari ini, ini dia!
“A year from now, all your
troubles and worries will seem far more trivial than you remembered.”
[BGM 'Your Eyes']
Oh, itu adalah kutipan yang
baik.
Ini adalah kutipan oleh
Penulis esai Inggris, Samuel Johnson -san. Bahkan jika Anda memiliki kekhawatiran
sekarang, setelah Anda melewatinya, mereka menjadi sesuatu bagian dari masa
lalu.
Oh, jadi begitu.
Kekhawatiran, benar, mereka
seperti; Ahh, jadi aku khawatir tentang
hal-hal seperti itu, ya? Ahahahaha. Seperti Ahahahaha. Ya kan.. (Tertawa)
Nah, ada beberapa macam hal
yang perlu dikhawatirkan, kan? Ya.
mendapatkan satu ikan pun.
Huh? Itu aneh ... Saya
didapat. Disitu terlihat seperti menggunakan trik untuk mendapatkannya. Jadi
itulah kenapa itu menarik.
Jadi berlaku juga untuk anda
mulai sekarang. Ohno-kun, semoga sukses! (Tertawa)
Sekian, Ohno Satoshi pamit!

Arashi Discovery 2012.11.28
Good morning.
This is Arashi's Ohno Satoshi.
Here's today's thought of the day; come on!
"Nothing good comes from rushing."
[BGM 'Kakenukero!']
Exactly.
Right, so about this. This is a quote by the American industrialist, Henry Ford-san. So let's
always approach things calmly.
Anyways. That's right. Nothing good comes from rushing. It'll just end up as
pointless effort, basically.
The best way to put it so that it's easily understood would be in terms of
fishing. It's the same with fishing. For example, you don't cast the lure all
like, Imma catch a fish on the first go! If you rush, your
line'll get tangled. In time, everyone catches something. I mean, well, if
everyone just cast as far as they could, the fish would disappear. That's how
it is. So at times like that, it's best to have 2 rods.
Right, so if you were rushing, you'd cast your lures like this, and then you'd
get your line tangled. Then you'd have to cut it. Then just as you were doing
that, the fish would get away. So at times like that, it's better to have
another rod handy so you could cast another line.
So generally, when you go fishing, it's best to have 2 rods. Even if the line
for one gets tangled and you have to cut it, as long as you have a second one
you could cast it, right? Then you'd catch the fish. Ahhh, I did it.
Then when you're like, Right, next point, you could fix your
first rod in that time.
So please buy 2 rods! (laughs)
Man, it's like... Recently, the staff of this radio show have finally realised
the attractions of fishing. We went once. And then they were hooked. I was so
happy.
When I was told, "When Oh-chan told his fishing anecdotes on
radio, I completely didn't get it at all, But now I finally understand
Oh-chan's feelings", I was overjoyed. It was like So you
finally understand! ; __ ;
Man, that was funny. When I said, "We should go again some
time", but it was pretty cold that last time, so the talk turned to
stuff like,"It'd be best to wrap up warmly". Apparently they
immediately went to buy warm clothing. (laughs)
Man, that was funny! Right.
That's all; this was Ohno Satoshi!
++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++
Arashi Discovery 2012.11.28
Selamat pagi. Ini adalah Arashi - Ohno Satoshi.
Kata bijak untuk hari ini, ini dia!
“Nothing good comes from rushing.”
"Tidak ada yang baik datang dengan terburu-buru."
['Kakenukero!' BGM]
Tepat.
Benar, soal hal ini. Ini adalah kutipan oleh pengusaha
industry Amerika, Henry Ford-san. Jadi mari kita selalu mencapainya perlahan
(pelan-pelan).
Omong-omong. Itu benar. Tidak ada hal yang baik akan datang
jika terburu-buru.
menghilang. Itulah yang akan terjadi. Jadi pada saat-saat seperti itu, jalan
terbaik yakni memiliki 2 pancingan.
Kemudian Anda
akan menangkap ikan. Ahhh, aku melakukannya. Kemudian anda seperti, Yap, target berikutnya, anda bisa
memperbaiki pancingan pertama anda pada waktu itu.
Jadi silakan membeli 2 buah pancingan! (Tertawa)
Yah., ini seperti...
Baru-baru ini, staf acara radio ini akhirnya menyadari asiknya kegiatan
memancing. Kami pergi sekali. Dan kemudian mereka ketagihan. Aku sangat
bahagia.
Ketika saya diberitahu, "Ketika Oh-chan mengatakan
sekarang aku akhirnya mengerti perasaan Oh-chan", saya sangat gembira.
Rasanya seperti Jadi Anda akhirnya
mengerti! ; __;
pakaian hangat. (Tertawa)
Yah., itu lucu! Ya kan.
Sekian, Ohno Satoshi pamit!
