The Power of “GUTS!” - Sakai Miki

Sakai Miki is a young professional golfer who has been playing the sport for over 8 years and gone pro since 5 years ago. She has participated in many tournaments but have never won one till today. The self-professed Johnny’s fan (Arashi and Kanjani8) finally took home first place (tied) at the Earth Mondahmin Cup. And she attributes the miraculous win to her favorite band Arashi.

The 23-year-old golfer commented, “This morning I listened to one of my favorite Arashi songs, ‘GUTS’, as I headed for the course.” When she was interviewed after her first career victory, the golfer said, "Actually, today, Arashi has an event at Tokyo Dome at 5pm and I really wanted to go. I didn’t even think I would win so I thought maybe I could’ve made it in time. It feels a bit complicated right now.” and shed tears of joy (?) across her red cheeks.
